Care Questions for Women, Teens, and Men
Do you see men as well as women?
Yes. Our primary focus is women’s health, but we also provide sexual and reproductive health services for men, including hormone therapy and STI testing.
What ages of patients do you see?
We see women from their first period (adolescent) through post-menopause, and men for sexual and reproductive health.
Can I bring a parent, friend, or support person?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a parent, partner, or support person if it helps you feel more comfortable during your visit.
Exams & Visit Experience
How do you make pelvic exams more comfortable for teens and young women?
We take a gentle, education-first approach and only perform an exam if it is needed. When one is appropriate, we use smaller, modern speculums (Nella Kind) designed for young patients, explain each step in a calm and clear way, and check in throughout the process to ensure you feel supported, safe, and in control.
Can I transfer care from another provider?
Yes, you’re welcome to transfer your care. We’re happy to review your history and continue your treatment plan.
